इलाम- किसानलाई औषधिजन्य जडीबुटीको खेतीमा प्रोत्साहन एवम् प्रवद्र्धन गर्न वनस्पति अनुसन्धान केन्द्रले जडीबुटीका विरुवा निः शुल्क वितरण गर्ने भएको छ । पछिल्लो समय औषधिजन्य वनस्पतिको खपत बढी रहेका बेला केन्द्रले विरुवा वितरण गर्न लागेको हो । केन्द्रले ७० हजार औषधिजन्य वनस्पति र ३० हजार किवीको विरुवा वितरण गर्ने जनाएको छ । केन्द्रका नर्सरीमा अहिले एक लाख पाँच हजार विरुवा रहेका छन्। ती मध्येबाट एक लाख विरुवा किसानलाई वितरण गर्ने केन्द्रले जनाएको छ । “हामीले कम्तिमा पनि एक लाख विरुवा वितरण गर्छौ”केन्द्रका वैज्ञानिक अधिकृत जीवन पाण्डेले भन्नुभयो,“हामीले वीउ दल चाहिँ करीव एक लाख पाँच हजार विरुवा गरेका छौं। कीरा लागेमा वा रोग परेर पाँच हजार जति विरुवा मरेपनि एक लाख विरुवा चाहिँ बाड्ने लक्ष्यमा छौं।” केन्द्रले यही असोज मसान्तसम्ममा कृषकलाई कार्यालयमा सम्पर्क गर्न अनुरोध गरेको छ । किसानका लागि वितरण गर्न केन्द्रसँग लौठ सल्ला ३० हजार, सिल टिमुर ३० हजार, तेजपत्ता १० हजार, वोक टिमुर ५ हजार र किवी पाँच हजार विरुवा रहेका छन्। केन्द्रको सन्दकपुर गाउँपालिकास्थित माइपोखरी वनस्पति उद्यानबाट विरुवा वितरण गरिने छ । “हामीले किसान आह्वान गर्छौ । किसानको खेतबारीको स्थलगत सर्वेक्षण गरेपछि विरुवा दिन्छौ”, उहाँले भन्नुभयो,“ सर्वेक्षण गर्दा उपयुक्त हावापानी भएको वारीमा विरुवा वितरण गर्छौ ।” किसानलाई औषधिजन्य वनस्पतिको खेतीको जानकारी र प्रोत्साहनका लागि केन्द्रले विरुवा वितरण थालेको हो । यस बर्षको गत भदौ सम्ममा मात्रै ४२ हजार विरुवा केन्द्रले स्थानीय तहमार्फत वितरण गरेको छ । “बर्षेनी विरुवा वितरण बढिरहेको छ ।”अधिकृत पाण्डेले भन्नुभयो,“अहिले आह्रवान गरेको सूचना आउँदो बर्ष वितरण गर्नका लागि हो”, पाण्डेले भन्नुभयो,“हामीले किसानलाई विरुवा दिँदा धेरै प्रक्रिया पूरा गर्नुपर्छ । त्यही भएर एक बर्षअघि नै सूचना निकालेका हौं ।” केन्द्रका अनुसार जिल्लाका उच्च पहाडी क्षेत्रमा वहुमूल्य वनस्पति लगाउन अझै किसानमा सचेतनाका कार्यक्रम नभएकाले प्रोत्साहन स्वरुप कार्यक्रम ल्याइएको हो । यस्ता वनस्पतिको बजार राम्रो भएपनि जिल्लामा कम मात्र खेती गरिँदै छ ।
